REAL STORIES

Learning in diversity

This interview is part of the series of interviews that Play and Train carried out during the confinement due to the Covid-19 pandemic. During this cycle, different families who have been linked to the association for years were interviewed so that they could tell us first-hand about their experience and that of their sons and daughters participating in Play and Train’s activities.

Angel’s passion for the snow led him to look for a way for his son Didac, despite having suffered an amputation when he was very young, to be able to ski. This search led him to Play and Train and his first ski lessons when he was just four years old.

In addition to the physical and psychological benefits of sport, Angel highlights the positive impact that interacting with children with other disabilities has had on his son. “Seeing that he is not the only one. To see that he can have as many, more or less difficulties than others and that, in the end, they make a team”.
